In 2003 I started to play the violin at the age of three in the United States with Cindy Doering. When I was seven years old, we moved to Finland with my family. I continued studying the violin in Jyväskylä and I shortly began studying with Anatoli Melnikov as his youngest student ever. As a result of the precise and consistent training, I started my violin studies with Merit Palas in the Sibelius Academy Junior Academy in Helsinki, Finland in 2012.

This fall I begun my studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music with professor Ilya Kaler.

I have attended several violin master classes in Finland and abroad: 2015 in Poland, 2014 in Belgium (where I was the representative of Sibelius Academy in the Musica Mundi chamber music master course), 2013 in Croatia and 2007 in USA. During master classes and other valuable learning opportunities I have gained valuable knowledge from Yair Kless, Maxim Vengerov, Leonid Kerbel, Gerhard Schulz, Barnabas Kelemen, Ivry Gitlis, Eyal Kless and Hagai Shaham.

In the summer 2017 I attended the Heifetz International Music Institute. There I had the opportunity to work with amazing faculty; Ilya Kaler, Nicholas Kitchen, Silvia Marcovici, Elmar Oliveira, David Geber, Yeesun Kim and Kristopher Tong.

I have attended several competitions where I have placed excellently:

  • 2018 Great Composers Competition Series, Rising Talents of Americas, 1st prize

  • 2017 Great Composers Competition Series, Artist of the Year, 2nd prize

  • 2017 Great Composers Competition, Best Vivaldi and Best Bach Performances, 1st prize

  • 2016 Enkor International Music Competition, 3rd prize

  • 2015 21st Century Art Competition in Lempäälä, Finland, 1st prize

  • 2014 Savshinsky International Music Competition in St. Petersburg, Russia, 3rd prize

  • 2014 Stockholm International Music Competition in Stockholm, Sweden, 3rd prize

  • 2013 Walgreens National Concerto Competition, Chicago, USA, honorable mention
