In 2003 I started to play the violin at
the age of three in the United States with Cindy Doering. When I
was seven years old, we moved to Finland with my family. I
continued studying the violin in Jyväskylä and I shortly began
studying with Anatoli Melnikov as his youngest student ever. As
a result of the precise and consistent training, I started my
violin studies with Merit Palas in the Sibelius Academy Junior
Academy in Helsinki, Finland in 2012.
In the fall 2018 I began my studies at
the Cleveland Institute of Music with professor Ilya Kaler.
I have attended several violin master
classes in Finland and abroad: 2021 Orford Music Academy, 2019 in Israel (Keshet Eilon
String Summer Master Course, attended with scholarship), 2015 in
Poland, 2014 in Belgium (where I was the representative of
Sibelius Academy in the Musica Mundi chamber music master
course), 2013 in Croatia and 2007 in USA. During master classes
and other valuable learning opportunities I have gained valuable
knowledge from Cho-Liang Lin, William van der Sloot, Benjamin
Bowman, Grigory Kalinovsky, Yair Kless, Maxim Vengerov,
Leonid Kerbel, Gerhard Schulz, Barnabas Kelemen, Ivry Gitlis,
Eyal Kless, Hagai Shaham and Réka Szilvay.
In the summer 2017 I attended the Heifetz International
Music Institute. There I had the opportunity to work with
amazing faculty; Ilya Kaler, Nicholas Kitchen, Silvia Marcovici, Elmar
Oliveira, David Geber, Yeesun Kim and Kristopher Tong.
I have attended several competitions
where I have placed excellently:
